Kuala Lumpur has become my second “hometown” since I accepted her “citizenship” in 1992.
Here I’m watching this city turned into a vibrant city of choking smoke and beautifully world renowned landmark.
I have seen the good, the bad, the worst and the best things happened to this city for the past 14 years (I was working in Singapore for 3 years).
In my opinion, the location of Kuala Lumpur is the most strategic city in Asia. This city is located right in the middle of southern part of Asia continent.
If you are planning to vacation in Kuala Lumpur, then you are in the right site. Because this city is never short of tourist attractions, be it for backpacker or family vacation.
Driving in the city is as easy as your could think.
However, the signs of the road could be very confusing for a new driver in town. And I would suggest you to have a good Kuala Lumpur street map.
A GPS system would be a cool thing, a portable one will be nice. Do not “display” the gadget on your dashboard. Common sense will tell you any metropolitan city will always faced with car theft problem.
