What is LCCT ?
LCCT GPS Navigation Coordinates: Latitude: 2°44'13.41"N / Longitudes: 101°43'10.05"E
The acronym stand for Low Cost Carrier Terminal
For your information there are Kuala Lumpur airport are divided into two side .
The full service carrier will be landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport ( KLIA) together with overseas budget airline such as JetStar . This is including Malaysian Airlines domestic flight.
Whereas the LCCT currently become the home base of AirAsia. It is a simple airport terminal with a basic amenities. You may ask why 2 airports that is approximately 20km apart?
Frankly, I have no idea why.
However, allow me to explained base on the official sources from the authority. The LCCT, is a project specifically designed and built to accommodate the high growth of passenger movements for the Low Cost Airlines, especially the passengers of Malaysia's first 'no-frills' airline, Air Asia. It is the government effort to boost local tourism activities in Malaysia.
Overall I really love this terminal just because it is designed to facilitate the passengers' movement of international and domestic departures and arrivals within a single floor operation area. It is not too big or too small.
You just need to walk a short distance to get to check in counter, Malaysia Immigration, Departure hall and off you go to your flight in less than 300 meters.
However passenger with special need have to informed the AirAsia staff for assistance as you need to climb the stair to your plane .

Look out for signboards that say “Kargo”, “Pos Malaysia” and “MASKargo”.
Go straight on this road called Jalan Pekeliling , until you reach the first roundabout and take a 3 o’clock turn (YES, Right Turn).
Continue driving straight until you come to a crossroad of traffic lights where you see Pos Malaysia Mail and Courier Centre on your right. The LCC-T is located next to the Pos Malaysia warehouse.

LCCT facilities

But the terminal did not have airport hotel. The nearest hotel you could get either Pan Pacific Hotel (which is adjacent to KLIA) or Concorde Inn in Sepang.
Or else, you will have to put up an accommodation in Kuala Lumpur hotel
It started operation in March 2007. That was fast, considering the built area is 35,290 sq meter! And capable of handling maximum 15 million passenger per year.
I love this terminal as it is not as huge as KLIA. So you don't have to sprint toward your plane. In case you are late!
It is a simple terminal. Everything is on the same floor.
Very convenience for handicapped people too.
Facilities and Amenities
The LCC Terminal has common facilities and amenities for the conveniences of the passengers and users of the terminal.
Retail and F&B outlets are located at the Public Concourse and at Departure and Arrival Halls for both International and Domestic areas.
Duty Free shops are available at the International Arrival & Departure Lounges. As I said this is a budget terminal , I hope you don't have any high expectation on the goods sold here. Just normal liquor , chocolate and cigarettes.
Other facilities and services include Foreign Exchange Counter, pay phones, Auto Teller Machines (ATM), Hotel Reservation, Car Rental, Taxi Service and Prayer Room (Surau).

Airport Hotel
Besides, De Palma and Concorde, you might wants to check out hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Which is I strongly recommend for you.
The reason. The hotel in Sepang is good for if :
~you are just transit and for a short period 12-24 hour stay before you fly off. The nearest city is Putrajaya.
~You are attending Moto GP or Formaula1 or Japan GT race. As Sepang International Circuit is nearby this airport and hotel.
Frankly, nothing much you could do at these hotel beside a transit. Unless you arrange a car rental and drive to Bagan Lalang to saviour some nice seafood cuisine
If you are planning to stay more than 2 days. I strongly recommend staying in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Check in to Kuala Lumpur serviced apartments and book for sightseeing in this city .
